02 Getting Started

From zero to your first flash in four steps.

Create your account Register with an invite code from your dealer or reseller at register.php. Invites are required — no open signup.
Get a license key Purchase a plan (see Plans & Features) and you'll receive a license key. Admins and resellers generate these keys from the panel.
Download & install the app Grab the installer from your Dashboard → Downloads and run it. Windows 10/11 recommended.
Activate Paste your license key into the app's activation screen. The key binds to your PC automatically (see License & Activation) and your plan unlocks instantly.
Your plan features (ROM Dump, Lock ECU, BackDoor…) activate the moment your key is validated — nothing else to configure.

03 License & Activation

How keys, HWID locking, and offline access work.

Hardware lock (HWID)

Every license is locked to exactly one PC. The first PC that validates your key becomes its permanent home. The machine ID is computed from your CPU + system drive — reinstalling Windows normally keeps the same ID.

Moving to a new PC

Changed your hardware or bought a new laptop? Contact an admin to reset your HWID. Resellers can reset HWID for their own customers directly from their Management → Users page (microchip icon).

04 Flashing a Map

The core workflow — bench-safe, step by step.

Connect the bike Plug your flashing interface into the motorcycle's DLC connector and power the ignition ON. Keep a stable battery — a voltage dip mid-flash is the #1 cause of failed writes.
Open Flash page & select the vehicle Choose the make/model/ECU type. The app filters the map library to compatible files only.
Pick your map Stock restore, stage map, or a patch (e.g. smart-key off, rev-limit). Descriptions are shown per file.
Choose the security patch (optional, Max plan) Lock ECU / Unlock ECU patches are available on the Max plan. The app will tell you if your plan doesn't include them.
Press Flash and wait Do not turn off the ignition, unplug the interface, or let the battery die during the write. Wait for the completion message.
Reset the ECU Turn the ignition OFF, then back ON. The ECU now runs your new map. Start the bike and verify.

05 DTC Diagnostics

Read and clear diagnostic trouble codes.

Reset DTC (single ECU)

Connect to the bike, open the DTC page, select the ECU, and press Reset DTC. Stored fault codes for that ECU are cleared.

Reset ALL ECM

Press Reset ALL ECM to clear fault codes across every supported ECU in one pass. Available on all plans, including Starter.

Resetting codes without fixing the root cause means the light comes back. Use DTC reset after the repair, not instead of it.

06 IDKey / EEPROM Tools

Advanced identity & memory functions — handled with care.

Reset ID Barcode Pro+

Clears the ECU's ID barcode pairing — used when swapping ECUs between bikes or after replacing a damaged unit.

Set Flash Count Pro+

Adjusts the ECU's internal write-counter. Useful after service replacements where the count must be normalized.

EEPROM ROM Dump Max

Reads a full backup of the ECU's EEPROM before you make changes. Always dump before advanced work — it's your undo button.

EEPROM operations write to permanent memory. A wrong write can immobilize the ECU. Dump first, verify part numbers, and never operate with a weak battery.

07 BackDoor Flasher

Expert-level recovery & direct flashing. Max

The BackDoor page is a raw flashing interface for situations the normal workflow can't handle: bricked ECUs, recovery-mode entries, and direct image writes. It assumes you know exactly what you're doing — there is no hand-holding here.

Typical use: ECU won't respond after a failed flash → connect via BackDoor, select the correct ECU part number manually, and re-write a known-good full image.

BackDoor writes bypass all safety prompts. Wrong image = dead ECU. Always keep a ROM dump from before the incident.

08 Map Library

Always-up-to-date maps, straight from our servers.

The Library page lists every map file available for your supported ECU types. Files are downloaded on demand from the PH TUNER server, so new maps appear without reinstalling the app.

If downloads fail, check your internet connection and firewall — the app talks to philippine-remapper.com over HTTPS.

10 Offline Mode

No internet on the bench? Keep working.

After any successful online validation, PH TUNER caches your license and plan securely on your PC. If the internet drops, the app keeps working from that cache for up to 30 days — your plan's features stay exactly as they were.

The cache is locked to your machine: it can't be copied to another PC, and subscription expiry is still enforced offline. Once you're back online, everything re-syncs automatically.

Being offline for more than 30 days requires one online validation to continue. Connect to the internet, open the app, and you're set for another 30 days.

11 Troubleshooting / FAQ

The questions we get most, answered.

The app says "Upgrade Required" — why?
The function you clicked belongs to a higher plan (e.g. ROM Dump is Max-only). The popup shows your current plan and what's needed. Redeem an upgrade code on your Dashboard, or contact your reseller. Reset ALL ECM and the online map library are included in every plan.
Flash failed midway — is my ECU dead?
Usually not. Keep the interface connected, ignition ON, and reopen the app — it detects recovery mode and offers to re-write the ECU. If that fails, use the BackDoor flasher (Max plan) or contact support with your ECU part number.
I changed my motherboard / CPU — activation fails now
Your HWID changed. Ask an admin for a one-time HWID reset — resellers can reset it for their own customers in seconds. Your subscription and plan are untouched.
Can I use one license on two laptops?
No — every plan is locked to 1 device by design. This protects your key from sharing and keeps the platform fair. Need a second seat? Buy a second license (resellers offer bundle pricing).
Map library won't download
Check your internet, then your firewall/antivirus — allow the app through, or whitelist philippine-remapper.com. Corporate networks and some VPNs block the download endpoint.
Do you support my bike model?
The library grows constantly and covers the most common Philippine-market ECUs. Open the app's Flash page and search your model — if it's listed, it's supported. New map requests go through our Discord.
